Unfortunately, both Wentz and Stump have picked up the beat of the danced up pop and synthesized hip hop which is making its scar on 2011. It’s as if Wentz and Stump both know alternative/punk is sadly a dying genre of music these days; unfortunately, overplayed alternative/punk bands like Fall Out Boy are just not trendy anymore. The masses want to dance as oppose to ‘angst it out.’
